This Orange Basil Sunrise is the perfect drink for a light, refreshing pick-me-up. The combination of fresh basil and orange juice creates a vibrant, herbaceous flavor profile that’s easy to customize.
Don’t have basil? Try fresh mint or rosemary for a unique twist. Out of oranges? Swap in grapefruit, lemon, or even a mix of citrus fruits for a tangy surprise. This versatile recipe is all about making it your own.
Dr. Blake’s Top Tip: Muddle the herbs gently to release their oils without shredding them—this keeps the flavor fresh and prevents tiny bits from floating in your drink. For an added touch, freeze orange slices or herbs into your ice cubes for a beautiful and functional garnish!
