Foods are marked as low potassium if they contain less than 300mg total potassium for a serving and high potassium if they contain more than 500 mg potassium for a serving. Foods are marked as high protein contain more than 25 grams of protein per serving. Foods marked as low protein contain less than 15 grams of protein per serving. Low sodium foods have less than 200 mg sodium if they are a snack and less than 400 mg if they are a main course. Low sugar foods contain less than 10 grams of added sugar. Vegetarian meals contain dairy and eggs. Most of my recipes also contain no artificial phosphorus, assuming ingredients used do not have phosphorus additives. When limiting phosphorus intake, foods with artificial phosphorus should be the first foods that are eliminated.
